Silkscreen printing is one of the most popular printing techniques, and is the most-used by companies when printing designs onto products of different sizes and materials. It has been used for more than 100 years in the commercial and artistic sector and is mainly used for printing images and designs on T-shirts, tote bags, paper, wood, ceramics and other materials.
Renegade Apparel (and our competitors) are distributors for companies that import on warehouse scale and print these items. Each company listed below posts pricing guidelines on their websites. When visiting these sites please keep an eye out for setup fees, additional colour surcharges, production timelines and where the item ships from and any duties that may be subject (aka F.O.B.). There is a lot here, it’s probably overwhelming. Contact Renegade Apparel by phone to work with a specialist on picking the right product for your needs. We mainly order from S&S Activewear, Sanmar and Alphabroder.
These prices are for plastisol textile printing on light coloured cotton, polyester or rayon garment, per print, with 12.5” by 18.5” maximum print size. If printing light colours on dark garment, maximum size is 12.5” by 15”. We can print larger graphics, but additional fees apply.
Common sleeve print sizes are up to 3.75” by 16” for long prints and up to 3” by 5” for short prints. For track pants, maximum print width is 6” at the knee and 8” at the waist, with 16” in height. We can print on the butt too , but printing over the seam causes it to be a bit blurry.
There’s a $20 setup fee per colour per print location. For hard to match colours, add $10 for mixing costs.
If printing the same design on multiple garments in different colours, add $5 per colour change.
